Dr. Fred Leslie graduated from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine (now the University for Health Sciences). He became Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1982
Osteopathic physicians have four years of medical school, including two years of training in treating the musculoskeletal system, as well as an internship and residency. Osteopathic physicians believe in treating the whole body as well as the symptoms. This provides the patient with a greater understanding of the ways that any injury or illness in one part of the body can affect another.
Dr. Leslie is also a Registered Pharmacist, graduating from Ferris State College (now Ferris State University) in Michigan. From there, he went on to medical school.
